i-COM is a preparation based on cobalt, manganese and iodine salts to stimulate egg-laying of bee queens and increase brood. With autumn feeding, the number of brood increases by 15%, with spring feeding - by 30%, and honey productivity - by 25-30%.
Application method
1. Dilution of dry concentrate to obtain liquid concentrate
1.1 The preparation is in the form of a dry concentrate and needs to be diluted with sodium chloride (0.9% NaCl);
1.2 Take 5 ml of sodium chloride with a syringe and inject it into the vial with the preparation (insert an additional needle into the vial with the drug to release air);
1.3 Actively shake the bottle for about 1 min. until the preparation dissolves (precipitation is not allowed).
2. Application
2.1 Shake the bottle with the diluted preparation before each use.
2.2 Take 1 ml of the diluted preparation (the entire contents of the bottle) and dilute it in 100 ml of warm sugar syrup.
2.3 After that, dilute 100 ml of syrup with the diluted preparation in 10 liters of sugar syrup (or to prepare 500 g of candy) and use it for one-time feeding of 10 bee colonies.
2.4 For autumn feeding:
- after selection of honey and treatment of bees with preparations against Varroa mites (e.g., Lithium complex);
- dosage: 4-5 times 1 liter of sugar syrup with the preparation per bee colony (total volume 4-5 liters).
2.5 For spring feeding (to stimulate egg production of the queen bee):
- dosage: 1 time, 1 liter of sugar syrup with the preparation or 500 g of candy with the drug for one bee colony .
How to store the preparation
1. Shelf life of dry concentrate: 12 months. The date after which drug testing is recommended is indicated on the label (EXP....). Storage temperature: 4-25ºC, in a dry place protected from light.
2. After dilution, the shelf life of the liquid concentrate is 6 months. Storage temperature: 2-8ºC (refrigerator), in a dry, dark place.
3. After dilution in sugar syrup, shelf life: 2 days. Storage temperature: 2-8 ºС (refrigerator), in a dry place protected from light.
