Chitosan-S is a therapeutic and prophylactic preparation based on the complex of chitosan from aerobic spore-forming bacteria Bacillus subtilis. The drug is a new generation probiotic with a wide spectrum of antagonistic activity against pathogenic and opportunistic microorganisms, as well as antiviral activity in bee diseases such as ascospherosis, nosematosis, foulbrood&chalkbrood and others. The drug stimulates the protective reactions of bees and the immunity of bees to pathogens. The components of the preparation, after the targeted effect, are quickly disposed of in the body of bees with the help of special enzymes that ensure its ecological safety.
How to use the preparation?
2.5 g of the preparation is dissolved in 10 liters of sugar syrup (immediately before use) and used for one-time feeding of 10 bee colonies.
It is recommended to use several times per season, in the spring after the first flight and in the fall during the winter feeding.
Composition of the preparation:
chitosan complex - Bacillus subtilis bacteria - 2500 mg.
Packaging: Chitosan-S dry concentrate in a plastic container (without outer packaging).
Shelf life and storage conditions
Shelf life of dry concentrate: 12 months. The date after which preparation testing is recommended is indicated on the label (EXP....). Storage temperature: 4-25ºC, in a dry place protected from light.
